The Echo3 model jacket hides the armour in a low profile nylon windbreaker jacket while providing the user with high technology protection. Front and rear Police identification can be velcroed on. The jacket has removable armour, large pockets, heavy duty zips and a loose fitting back to allow unrestricted arm movement.

SOFT ARMOUR
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.04 is the internationally accepted standard for Bullet Resistant Vests. The Standard has 4 levels applicable to soft armour as shown in the table below.
Maximum trauma allowed is 44mm, to be measured on the first strike only. The Shot pattern for handgun ammunition requires all shots to be at least 7.6cm from any edge and at least 5cm from each other. |
